An eladrin born from a long line of swordmages in service to the Raven Queen. The service provided by his family is to sever the thread of fate that ties a being to his life. At times they actively seek out and hunt down those creatures who's time has come (or so they believe). Vel appears as an average-sized specimen of eladrin with sharp, nearly pointy features. In fact rather the opposite of grace and beauty often attributed to an eladrin. His hair is medium length and spiky, flowing back from a high brow. His movements, instead of flowing and graceful, are measured, precise and swift. He carries with him a smell of leather and oily steel.
