Brothers Dorian and Umesh where the proud sons of the Broken Earth clan. Umesh was the favored son the clan. When his father died he was to take the reighns of the clan and lead his people. He had to prove himself a warrior. So he joined a roving band of adventures. He would not go alone and took his ever faithful younger brother Dorian.

Dorian was the peaceful one of his clan, some would say with his gentle ways and thirst for understanding he would be not only a failure as a warrior, but as a man in general. What type of man says he can commune with the spirits…really? Umesh belived in his brother and for this reason alone he took him. What the two did not know is these spirits Dorian spoke with were the ghosts of his long lost ancestors. He was what his clan would refer to as a spirit speaker. One who can commune with the dead. The sprits helped to aid the two brothers and thier allies in combat. All worked out well untill the two fought that necromancer/lich. Umesh fell to evil magics and there was nothing Dorian could do.

A broken man Dorian found that the spirits would no longer speak to him. He lost his abiitly to heal. He foudn that he could still heal other ways by scarring his body with runes of pennance. But still the sprits would not talk to him. Until last week he found no reason to be and climbed to the highest of mountians. He said his goodbyes and jumped. Only something prevented this. Looking over his shoulder was his Brother Umesh. The spirit said he still had work to do. And with that Dorian had purpose again.
