Who is ready for a road trip? True Dungeon is setting up a huge 40,000 sqft medieval fantasy town, just 4 hours south of us in Marion, IL on April 3-4. What the heck is this? Here is a quote from the site:

Basically, True Realm is HUGE indoor “gamer theme park” where a large medieval cityscape is the backdrop for many immersive “True” gaming events based on the Dungeons and Dragons game.  Gamers can spend the whole weekend inside True Realm playing events, watching contests, enjoying a meal with friends while completely loosing themselves in the medieval fantasy environment.

No, no horses. It is basically a life size dungeon that you go through and role play a “D&D” like game. There are puzzles, traps, monsters…. it seems totally rad.  It is one of the most popular events at Gen Con.

…Kind of like a haunted house, but for D&D.
