Happy human independence from aliens day everyone.  Seeing how everyones weekend was.  

I was up in Kalamazoo, MI this weekend with some of my NERO friends.  Watched everyone get blasted as we fired off some mortars we picked up in IN.  Only got one game in and that was a set of Red Dragon Inn.  Dave Green, one of the guys there, is a performer specialized in the pyro arts, and he put on a hell of a show for us.  Only have a few pics up on my facebook page, but I have more on my phone.

This morning we ate at a chinese buffet and right next door was a gaming store called, Fanfare.  Large store that could have potential, however the owners wife wants half of it turned into a scrap-booking store. Has a lot for minis and cards, large space for comics but they don't use most of it, console games and dvds for sale, little gaming table space, and not much for board games.  Did have a nice collection of used books tho.  Almost picked up ADD 1ed Fiend Folio, Oriental Adventures, and the Players handbook for my collection.  Hell, I hate Palladium but they had the revised original generic rulebook there and I almost picked it up.  Ended up getting a Spycraft book I still needed for half price.  Would have gotten another book, but they had G1 Swoop and Sludge!!  I picked them up for $30 each for my brother's birthday since i didn't get him anything back in May.  They are pretty much complete with decent joints.  Swoop just doesn't have his missiles or launchers.
