I've been looking on making a 2-D game for awhile, but I'm really hindered by my complete lack of artistic talent. I've tried getting artists before, but it always falls apart. I'm quite proficient in Flash and this handy little app called Game Maker. Both of these programs are really good at making 2D games, and I'm pretty much to the point where I can make just about anything with both of them as long as its in 2D. So if anyone is aspiring artist and wants to have their animations turn into a game, I would be very interested in making that happen. I know this is kind of random, but just wanted to put this out there.

I know the pieces fit, because I watched them fall away.

I wouldn't consider myself and artist, but I do enjoy creating computer art. (not so much actual drawing or painting)
If you have a concept, let me know and I'll see if I can help.

Yea, I have a concept that I've tried to get started off the ground. Is there any way you could do animation?

I am currently trying to teach myself how to draw comic book style. It's very slow going. I have the original How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way and another guide by legend Dick Giordano. Does anyone else know of any solid sources for guidance in this? Any help would be appreciated.

Its been awhile since you posted burninator but if your still interested in creating 2D games I have pretty good experience doing so. I have good knowledge of AS2 but not AS3, and I also have quite a bit of code completed in AS2 for a platform style game (collecting coins, key at end of level that opens door to next level, boss fights). If you know actionscript I would be especially interested in working with you.
As for the sources in learning to draw comic style I would check out youtube, you would be suprised with some of the tutorials you might find. Also check out gnomology they have some of the best creative videos I've ever seen, its a huge inspiration for any kind of artist.
