Background:

Jane Smith never knew who her parents were.  After her birth, she was left on the doorstep of a local fire department and was soon given over to Child Services.  She was given her first name and birthday of January 1, 1980.  Even at a young age, Jane was a horrid child and Child Services found it very difficult to place her in a foster home.  Because of this, Jane grew up in an orphanage on the edge of Solace.  During her stay there, she was placed in the hands of Doctor Stephen Dancer.  Dancer subjected Jane to radical electroshock therapy and also abused the young girl both sexually and mentally while she was under his care.

When Jane turned eighteen, she was allowed to leave the orphanage and strike out on her own and create a new life for herself.  What she was unaware of was that Doctor Dancer had further plans for her and was not about to let her slip through his fingers.  Sending his behemoth manservant Colin to retrieve her at the gates of the orphanage, she   was brought back to his Dancer’s lab, where she was renamed Patient X and caged like an animal in the bowels of the great building’s basement.  Doctor Dancer planned to use Patient X as a guinea pig for is experimentation into new forms of psychotherapy and mind control.  He subjected her to many of his own homemade psychotropic drugs and “MAX” hormone.

Patient X responded strangely to the experiments.  She became strong, fast, cunning, and animalistic in nature.  She began to be difficult to control and even harder to contain.  One night she saw her opportunity and struck decisively.  When Colin came into her cell to take her to the Doctor’s table of horrors, Patient X lashed out with her bare hands and choked the man to death with her bare hands.  As the giant’s last breath escaped his lips, something within her snapped, and Lucinda Lynx was born.

Lynx made her way to the Doctor’s operation gallery, attacked Doctor Dancer and stalked the small man throughout the dark and labyrinthine halls of the orphanage.  Begging for his life, the Doctor revealed to Lynx that there was yet another level to the experiments that he was conducting and that in exchange for his life, he would finish what he started and make her more powerful that she could ever imagine.  He also promised to release her.

Lynx eventually funneled the Doctor back into his own lab and forced him to reveal the location of the elements to be used in the final phase of her supposed transformation.  Strapping the doctor down onto his own table, she injected him with a mix of the elements along with a fatal dose of mercury.  As the doctor began to transform and die in front of her, Lynx introduced herself to the doctor formally by her new name and laughed as she set fire to the lab and the orphanage.

Now finally free of her tormentors, Lucinda Lynx has set about on a mission to make everyone pay for the pain she has been put through in her life.  She actively searches for the parents that abandoned her so that she can destroy their lives as they destroyed hers.  Her goal is to make the world suffer, set it on fire, and then watch it burn to the ground.

Lucinda Lynx is five feet five inches tall and weighs one hundred and thirty-five pounds.  She has a slight build with decent muscle definition.  She has green eyes and black hair streaked with green.  She has Jane Smith tattooed on the inside of her left arm and Patient X tattooed on the inside of her right arm.  She has the name Lynx tattooed on her chest above her breasts.  She tends toward punk clothing, mostly metal spikes and leather, and always displays her hair and tattoos proudly.
