D&D Intro Video

I have been really impressed with all of the videos WotC has been releasing. The Penny Arcade podcasts and the Robot Chicken videos have all been very cool and fun. This new video discovered by Bucky is a great introduction to D&D 4th Edition, featuring Chris Perkins. I think it is a great introduction to players not familiar with D&D at all or even older players that may not have played in a while.

That’s actually one of their older videos, they released it a handful of months before the Robot Chicken stuff or the D&D Dungeon Masters/Five DMs series.

In any case, I still love that video, if only because it’s so earnest and unapologetically geeky, almost as if it is consciously channeling a surreal home-shopping video vibe. Check out a similar video for D&D Insider and you’ll see what I mean.

Also, Chris Perkins is pure awesome sauce. I need to have his rookie card.
