The Good, The Bad, The Ugly: Cowboy Bebop
The good news is they are making a movie based on one of my favorite anime series, Cowboy Bebop. The bad news is Keanu Reeves is playing Spike. The ugly part.. have I mention Keanu Reeves!?! Spike's character is sort of a sarcastic slacker, yet he is still a totally competent bounty hunter. Keanu just doesn't pull off sarcasm that well. He tried in Constatine, but only with partial success. Well nevertheless, I will be seeing this when it's released.
What do you think? Have you seen Cowboy Bebop? Do you think Keanu is the right casting choice?

Don’t get too excited until you see an actual release date for this. You know there were a lot of people who waited for years for a live action DBZ movie that never did get made, despite a lot of promises and hype. According to many online sources the live action DBZ movie is supposedly “In Production” but as far as I know, that’s all false information. Not trying to be a killjoy, just warning you not to get overly excited.

Its funny I just saw this the other night, the Dragonball movie is coming out April 8.

But your right, nothing is confirmed until you have a release date and even then look what happened to Watchmen.
