Fall 08 Must See TV

Which shows are you most looking forward to this upcoming fall season of TV?

  • Heroes - Who doesn't love superheroes and villian that are just regular people too.
  • Eli Stone - If you haven't watched this show, I feel you owe it to yourself to give it a try (Rent the first season, available now).  A lawyer with a brain aneurysm, see visions (usually involving George Michael songs) that help him with cases that help people instead of making money for big business corporations.  Its funny and endearing and I love the characters.
  • Fringe - The new J.J. Abrams show, so I'll a least give it a try.
  • Smallville - Been watching this since the beginning... when is Clark going to learn to fly?
  • Ghost Whisperer - It's gone a little downhill, but I'll give it another chance to redeem itself.
  • Dollhouse - Joss Whedon new Fox show won't start till mid season, but seems like a cool concept.
  • 24 - Also a mid-season show that was pushed back a year due to the writer's strike.  I just can't get enough of Jack kicking butt and taking names.
  • Lost - My absolute favorite!  I'm not sure when it's coming back on, but I can make a list of TV shows without adding it. It you love this show there is a ARG going on right now at Dharmawantsyou.com

  1. Don't forget Pushing Daisies.

  2. Terri and I started watching that last season and I really liked the concept, but something about the characters really started to grate on me, so I stopped watching.  I remember giving it 3 chances and then finally saying “enough” although I can't remember the exact reason now?!?

  3. Sons of Anarchy on FX is pretty solid judging by the pilot that aired this week.

  4. I didn't see that.  I assume you approve?

  5. Oh, I completely forgot Reaper.  I'm not sure when or if it is coming back, but I really enjoyed it.

This guy's parents sold their son's soul to the devil and now he works as Hell's bounty hunter and captures escaped souls/demons.  It's pretty funny and the character Sock, cracks me up.

  6. I love Reaper.  It will be back for Season 2.  And let's not forget Supernatural Season 4.
